About us

David founded Future Proof in 2011. He has over 17 years of experience within the industry and founded the company based on wanting to provide clients with high quality, clear and friendly advice. He believes that a client relationship is ongoing rather than transactional and the company has been positioned to help clients adjust their protection cover to reflect their changing circumstances. David is responsible for Future Proof’s strategic business partnerships and its ongoing growth. David is married with two children and “when not acting as a glorified taxi driver, I enjoy cycling, helping with the coaching of my son’s football team and walking our dogs Rolo and Ralph.”

Alex has worked in financial services since 1989 and has a wealth of experience from across the industry. He has specialised in Protection insurance advice since 2010. Having helped nurture our growth into one of the most respected specialist firms in the industry, Alex now heads up the St. James’s Place Partner relationship team. With four daughters, four dogs and two cats you would think life is hectic ?  “I love every minute of it and all the challenges they bring. It makes for a colourful and fulfilling life, and also means the office is my quiet space!”

Lewis previously worked for AIG Life and pensions provider, Just Retirement. He has a wide range of industry knowledge and experience. Joining Future Proof in 2016, initially, Lewis’s role was as a Protection Adviser where he gained his RO1 and RO5 qualifications. Lewis is now responsible for delivering the Future Proof training process. Monitoring, assessing and advancing every adviser. His focus is to maintain excellent customer outcomes, provide Advisers with relevant skills to understand client requirements and offer relevant and compliant advice.

Lewis enjoys travelling, exploring new places and experiencing different cultures as well as attending music festivals as much as he can in his spare time.

Amy has over 20 years of experience in the Mortgage and Protection industry. CeMAP, RO1 and RO5 qualified, she is also our longest serving Adviser and has a wealth of knowledge in helping our clients to find the most suitable policy for them, often if they have had difficulty with getting a policy in the past due to medical disclosures.

Amy joined Future Proof in 2013; her knowledge and expertise of insurance providers and underwriting criteria are second to none.

In her spare time, Amy says “I like to consider myself a wine and food connoisseur and enjoy mini-breaks in Europe!”

Dean has worked in Financial Services for 24 years, initially within wealth providers, with the last decade exclusively within protection.  He has held positions ranging from Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager to National Account Manager level.  Dean is FPC1 and R05 qualified.  By his own admission, he is, first and foremost, a protection advocate and passionate about all areas of protection.

Dean is married with two young daughters.  His family recently relocated to Torbay in South Devon where he enjoys a range of adventures, including spending lots of time at their beach hut. Dean is also a keen runner and has completed a number of half and full marathons.  He once completed 5 marathons in 5 weeks to raise over £7,000 to install top of the range equipment in a local primary school for the benefit of their deaf students.

Steph has worked in the industry for 35 years and has a wealth of experience from across the industry.  She has worked within the wealth and the mortgage sector but has specialised in protection advice for the last 15 years in business development and key account management roles.   Steph is FPC 1.2 & 3, CeMap, R01 & R06 qualified.  She is excited to share her passion for protection with one of the most respected specialised protection firms in the industry.

Steph lives in Sheffield and is married with one daughter.  She spent many hours taking her daughter to dance lessons, competitions, rehearsals and auditions  She also loves travelling, socialising and getting involved with her husband’s interior design and building projects.

Sarah has worked in financial services for over 25 years, working in both the UK and International markets.  She has spent the last 10 years working in the protection industry and sees herself as a Protection champion.  Sarah is FPC1, R01, and R05 qualified.

Sarah lives in Reading with her 12-year-old son.  In her spare time, Sarah likes to keep fit by running and going to the gym.  A music lover who enjoys going to gigs with her boyfriend and friends.

Adrienn joined Future Proof in 2014, having previously worked within the industry as a commercial underwriter for Travelers Insurance Company and also as an account handler for Bluefin Insurance Services. Being RO1, RO5 and CII certified, Adrienn has extensive knowledge of life insurance and really takes the time to understand our clients’ requirements to ensure she provides the most appropriate policies for them.

Married with a cat called Noodles, Adrienn enjoys travelling all over, from America to Cornwall – where she partakes in a bit of bodyboarding!

Mollie was made a Senior Specialist Adviser in 2020. She is the winner of the 2018 Protection Review Young Achiever of the Year Award – for demonstrating an outstanding level of knowledge and commitment in her field.

Mollie joined Future Proof as an Apprentice in 2014, working in our customer service team. She has progressed rapidly, being promoted to an Adviser in 2016 and expanding her knowledge every year since. Mollie takes time to completely understand each client’s circumstances and holds her RO1, RO2, RO3, RO4, RO5 and RO6 qualifications.

In her spare time, Mollie enjoys reading, going to the cinema and socialising with friends.

TJ has worked in Financial Services for over 19 years for a number of leading Protection Insurance providers and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Life, Critical Illness and Income Protection Insurance. He ensures that he works on the key principle of providing high-quality clear advice.

TJ’s qualifications include FPC1, FPC2, RO1 and RO5.

Tejinder is married with three young children and when he’s not chauffeuring them around to various places he enjoys cycling and keeping fit!

Karen has many years of experience in financial services and has a passion for delivering first-class customer service. Believing in the saying ‘treat others as you would like to be treated’. Karen is CeMAP qualified and also achieved her CFSP, she is both RO1 and RO5 qualified.

Karen has two boys and enjoys getting involved in lots of sporting activities including walking her dog, Lottie. A champion charity fundraiser in her spare time, Karen has run the London Marathon and is now bitten by the Triathlon bug!

Initially, Karen joined the Client Relationship team at Future Proof after returning to work from bringing up her family. Being an integral part of the team, she was promoted to Adviser after passing her RO1 and RO5 exams. Since she has been promoted to Senior Adviser. In her spare time, Karen studied for a degree in Ancient History and Philosophy!

Her interests are going to the theatre, listening to opera music and spending time with her family.

Angus joined our Advisor team in June 2019 and comes from a sales background. He is looking forward to adapting his skills to be a fully-fledged IFA. Angus is RO1 and RO5 qualified.

In his spare time, he rock climbs and takes care of his massive infant-like dogs, Bobby and Arlo.

David previously worked in the Banking and Financial Services Industry for 32 years.  David is CeMAP, CeFA, RO1 and RO5 qualified. He spent the last 12 years of his career as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser.

Father to two boys, outside of work David enjoys spending quality time with his family and playing golf.  David also has two dogs named Kenny and Clyde.

Molly joined Future Proof in August 2019 as a Client Relationship Adviser, with a view to becoming a Protection Adviser. After passing her RO1 and RO5 examinations, Molly became a Protection Adviser in 2020.

She formerly completed a Sports degree at Leeds Met and subsequently worked within recruitment.

Molly is a spontaneous kind of girl and in her spare time, you’ll find her in a pub or walking her dogs Dave and Roman.

Aimee started as a Customer Service Apprentice in 2014. Since then, she has gained an NVQ in Business Administration and worked in the administrative support team for 18 months. She was appointed to Digital Business Development Coordinator in September 2017.

Aimee was promoted to Protection Adviser in August 2020 after passing her RO1 and 5 exams. She has excellent customer service skills and a thorough knowledge of the industry.

Aimee is a self-confessed ‘qualified cat lady’!

Alfonso joined Future Proof’s Adviser team in February 2020. He previously worked within the medical insurance industry and in claims authorisation at a multinational medical and travel security services firm.

He is keen to develop his customer service skills to offer the best possible protection solutions to our clients. Alfonso is RO1 and RO5 qualified.

In his spare time, he enjoys going on family adventures with his wife and two daughters and travelling the world with friends and family.

Mickey previously worked for an Aircraft Parts stockist as their Deputy Head of sales. Having worked there for 6 years, the pandemic prompted him to seek a career change. He is RO1 and RO5 qualified.

In his spare time, he enjoys football and is a season ticket holder at Crystal Palace FC.  He also plays 6-a-side football every week. He loves socialising with his friends and family. Mickey is a keen runner and takes part in half marathons.

Emma joined Future Proof in October 2020 with 7 years of previous experience in financial services.

Emma has a varied knowledge of the industry from her previous jobs in high street bank Halifax, annuity and equity release specialist Just Retirement and most recently VitalityInvest. Emma is CF1, FA2, ER1, RO1 and RO5 qualified.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys socialising with friends, reading and Outdoor Military Fitness classes. During the recent pandemic, she has taken up crochet.

Emma has previously used her creative nature to gain a BA (Hons) degree in Textile Design for Fashion.

Louise has worked in Financial Services since graduating from University. She has worked for IFA firms for 15 years focusing on Inheritance Tax, High-Value Clients, Trusts and Financial Protection for the last 10 years. Louise is experienced in dealing with large value, complex insurance cases which involve a plethora of stakeholders and multiple members of families, whose wealth, she has played a part in protecting over the years.  Louise has a full understanding of medical underwriting and the reinsurance market. Louise is RO1 and RO5 qualified.

Louise is an ambassador for Insuring Women’s Futures which highlights the need for financial resilience. Alongside being a mother to her young children, Louise is a keen singer and leads the annual village Carol Service, which she describes as great fun!

Martin started work in Financial Services back in the mid-’90s after a career in graphic design and photography. Initially working for Prudential and Friends Provident before moving into bank assurance, then portfolio investment advice as a level 4 qualified adviser.

He moved across to Account Management and spent six years with Royal London and Old Mutual Wealth before joining Future Proof in October 2020.

Outside of work, Martin is a very keen fisherman, he loves photography, foreign travel, history, movies, collecting books and socialising with friends and family.

Matthew started his career in Financial Services in the late ’90s as a Financial Consultant. He joined a Protection Specialist broker where he spent 13 years advising, coaching and in Leadership roles. Matthew went on to run his own company for nearly 6 years. This specialised in advising clients and their families on Protection needs. He is FPC1, 2, 3 and RO1 qualified.

In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family. Enjoys trips away in his classic VW camper and really enjoys mentoring students to help them obtain their Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Paul has several years of experience within the financial services industry as an Investment Adviser and more recently as a Financial Adviser.

Paul is very passionate about providing the best advice and service to clients. He is a firm believer that good protection planning is fundamental in providing a solid foundation to work from with your financial goals.

Paul is married with two young children which keeps him very busy when he is not working with clients!

Andy joined Future Proof in April 2021. He joins with a raft of relevant experience. Previously, he worked as an FX Dealer for four years, advising on the FX markets for both corporate and private clients. Then at an Independent Financial Advisers as a trainee adviser where he gained his qualifications  R01, R02 and R05.

Andy lives with his girlfriend in Surrey and enjoys spending his spare time walking his dog Joey and playing golf with friends. When relaxing at home, you’ll find him with his feet up watching films.

Sue joined from Vitalitylife where she had been advising for over 6 yrs. Previously, she had been advising in Financial Services for over 13 years. She holds R01,R02, R05, LP2 & Cemap Qualifications.

She firmly believes in treating customers fairly and in doing everything she can to help find the most appropriate solution.

Married with a young daughter, Sue enjoys family time, socialising with friends, keeping fit, holidaying to Malta &, watching her favourite Football team.

James joined Future Proof in June 2021 and passed his RO1  and RO5 qualifications in record time! He began in financial services in 2008 at moneysupermarket.com as an energy agent helping clients switch their tariffs. Moving to customer services and then the protection team.

More recently, he worked for a local mortgage & Insurance firm heading the protection side of the business making client journeys stress free.

James lives in the Wirral is married and enjoys watching his football team Liverpool. He plays golf and enjoys socialising with family and friends.

Aimee began her Protection career at the age of 18 building up vast experience and knowledge from working within mortgage brokerages as a protection specialist. She is RO1 and RO5 qualified. Aimee lives in the Bristol area.

In her spare time, she enjoys dancing which she has done her whole life, from ballet to commercial.  Aimee loves socialising with friends, shopping and lives for long weekend adventures. She has two pet rats (Alan and Bert) who think they are more like dogs! They are both weird and wonderful and she is hoping to add to her collection!

Chelsie has been working as a Protection Adviser since 2019, after claiming back mis-sold PPI for almost 7 years.

She took a small break to try her hand at recruitment but quickly came back to protection, as she realised that it is what she is really passionate about. She is RO1 and R05 qualified.

Chelsie lives on the south coast, with her partner, Callum, and Son, Luca.

Chris has been working in financial services for 5 years and began in mortgage administration. Since September 2019, he has been working in protection advice roles. He is RO1 and RO5 qualified.

Chris lives with his partner in Devon and is currently hoping to buy his own home in the new year. He owns a Bengal cross cat called Milo and is a massive football fan! Liverpool is his team because he was born there. Chris also enjoys a cinema trip, especially when any Marvel or DC films come out!

Connor joined Future Proof as a Customer service specialist. Within two years, he passed his RO1 and RO5 qualifications and now works as an Adviser.

Connor used to work for an estate agency and brings with him experience in providing excellent customer service.

Connor is a bubbly person, keen to learn and willing to go the extra mile for his clients.

Lucy has a degree in English Literature and over 15 years of administration experience. She joined Future Proof in 2012 and was promoted to Manager of the support team in 2016. In 2017 Lucy took over the HR and Operations aspects of the business as well. She is responsible for all areas of HR, compliance and recruitment as well as the day to day management of the administration support teams on the Future Proof and St James’s Place Protection Planning side.

Lucy is married with two daughters. “I enjoy baking, holidays and also like to make the most of a good night out (when my little girls let me!)”

With over 20 years of experience in administration, Sarah was formerly involved in the mortgage sector and joined Future Proof at its inception in 2011. She is responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate process of applications, from point of advice to commencement of cover. Her role entails writing correspondence, liaising with clients, medical professionals and other bodies to obtain information and expedite the underwriting process, as well as training new members of the team.

“In my spare time, I love going out and about with our children, Labrador Rolo and carrying out home improvement projects.”

Jo joined Future Proof in 2014, having previously gained experience in administration and secretarial roles, both in London and locally. She provides administrative support for the company’s advisers.

When she is not in the office, Jo can be found practising Yoga and Pilates. She also enjoys taking city breaks and likes to spend time with her family and friends.

Rachel has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, her background includes project management, sales and customer services. She is very organised and meticulous with an eye for detail. Rachel provides Partner support, taking pride in everything that she does she is a strong believer that if a job is worth doing – do it to the best of your ability!

Things that make her most happy are family, holidays, music, reading and eating Thai food (in no particular order!)

Kathleen has been in a customer-focused role for most of her professional career. Previously, looking after clients’ accounts to ensure that they had been billed correctly and dealing with any queries they may have had. Kathleen took a career break to look after her 2 young children which she thoroughly enjoyed before returning to work and becoming a key person in the support team! In April 2021, Kathleen was promoted to become an Administration Manager.

In her spare time, Kathleen is a keen swimmer and loves sitting down with a good book.

Lucy has 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, She previously worked as a Retirement Consultant for Friends Life and also as an Account Executive for IMG Europe. She joined the company bringing with her vast account management and administration experience.

Lucy is married with a daughter and two cats.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and loves reading and cooking.

Vicky has 25 years of administration and secretarial experience in both the public and private sectors.  She previously worked as a PA in education prior to running her own virtual assistant business.  She has also worked as a 999 call handler for the ambulance service so is calm in a crisis! Vicky was promoted to Administration Manager in 2021.

Vicky is married with two teenage daughters and a springer spaniel. She is also a keen cyclist and runner.

Rachel has 15 years of experience in administration and customer service roles within many different areas of the Travel Industry. Rachel has explored and travelled to many countries before joining the finance sector.

She lives with her husband and cat Phoebe and in her spare time, loves to travel (unsurprisingly!). She is an avid reader and is currently learning to speak Italian.

Leonora joined the Client Relationship Adviser team in October 2020. She recently graduated from Brighton Screen and Film School with a degree in Film Production. This is Leonora’s first full-time job since graduating from university. In 2021 Leonora moved into the administration side of the business.

Leonora is a creative person who enjoys watching films, painting, reading and spending time with her friends in her free time.

James joined the Futureproof Team in May 2021 having previously worked in various support roles in London for advisers and wealth managers.

A resident of Epsom, James lives with his partner David and their venus fly trap ‘Vinny’. Outside of work James enjoys keeping fit, travelling and the occasional Netflix binge. Following a trip to Australia, James caught the surfing bug and when UK conditions allow, likes to ride a wave.

Emma has had several jobs in the insurance industry, her most recent was working for AIG, supporting advisors and customers. Emma joined Future Proof in 2022 to continue her career in protection.

In her spare time, Emma likes to spend time with her two boys. She is also passionate about live music and is a regular at the Glastonbury festival as well as other well-known music events.

Emma also enjoys travelling and is always busy planning her next break.

Sarah’s previous role, before taking an extended career break, was as a Sales Development Manager at News UK Ltd and she has a proven track record of building businesses by adopting a strategic and collaborative approach. Sarah joined Future Proof in January 2017.

Sarah is married with two young sons and has a cat ( Toffee) and a Border terrier called Pancake. In her spare time, she loves Asian cookery, up-cycling furniture and is a karaoke queen!

Robyn joined Future Proof in 2014 as the company’s Client Relationship Manager. She has over 12 years of experience in customer services, having previously worked within the corporate business sector. Robyn is responsible for managing the team, ensuring we provide a first-class service to all our clients. Robyn is also responsible for all office equipment, IT and phone services – she is the go-to person for resolving issues!

Robyn is the office Star Baker and her creations have won her many of our company Bake Offs! “I am a self-styled TV expert, huge believer in holidays and The Borrowers. I spend most weekends stuck in a muddy field with my dog!”

Leanne joined Future Proof as a Client Relationship Adviser in 2016 where she gained an NVQ in Business Administration and passed her HTML and CSS course with Distinction no less! In 2018, Leanne was promoted to Senior Client Services Adviser and in 2021 she joined the SJP PP team to focus on providing medical research support to the advisers.

“When I’m not at work I enjoy playing the piano and looking after my 8 dogs! I also like to go on road trips”.

Nadia joined the Future Proof customer service team in February 2019. She is a graduate of Portsmouth University, where she studied for her Law with Business Degree. Deciding she didn’t want to go into Law but enjoyed the business side this is Nadia’s first full-time job since leaving University. In 2021, Nadia was promoted to Team Leader.

Nadia loves going on holidays with the girls every year as well as challenging herself to compete in obstacle races (without training!).

Having joined in January 2020, this is Harry’s first full-time job! Joining the customer service team, with the aim to progress and become a protection adviser in the near future. Harry is starting his career in Financial Services at an early age.

He previously worked in part-time positions providing high-quality customer service, going above and beyond to achieve this.

In his spare time, he likes to socialise with his friends, and go on holidays with his family and girlfriend. He plays numerous sports such as football and golf, as well as keeping fit.

June has over eight years of experience working in Customer Services having previously worked in the corporate sector.

She also spent 20 plus years running a family light haulage company.

Out of work she enjoys spending time with her family, Children and Grandchildren. When time permits, she loves to travel.

After graduating from University in English Literature 2 years ago Hannah spent a year and a half as a Portfolio Manager for an Estate Agents. She joined the Future Proof team to continue her passion for helping others through customer services. Hannah recently passed her RO1 and RO5 financial qualifications and has transitioned from client services specialist to Adviser.

On weekends, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family and two rescue Pointers Macie and Marco.

Phoebe has over six years of experience in customer service, having worked her way from supervisor up to a managerial role in a well-known supermarket. After this, she worked for a bank in the wealth management team. Phoebe joined Future Proof in 2022 to continue what she is passionate about and further her knowledge in Financial services.

When she is not working, you’ll find Phoebe in a pub, on a scenic nature walk with my two dogs Tilly and Willow! Phoebe loves experimenting whilst cooking vegetarian meals. To unwind she enjoys designing tattoos, portrait sketches, listening to music and binge-watching a series.

Rolo joined Future Proof in 2012. He takes his role as CMO very seriously and his main duties are to meet and greet everyone as well as helping to keep the office tidy by cleaning the floor of any food crumbs! He has a unique skill set and ensures an important level of happiness and well being is maintained. He has a very effective de-stress technique and is happy to be stroked by all.

In his spare time, Rolo has two children to keep him busy, loves long walks in the countryside and has a keen interest/obsession with food.
