Helping Hand

Helping Hand will give you access to your own personal nurse adviser from independent care advisory service RedArc if you’re ill and need some extra support. They can discuss symptoms, offer reassurance, and recommend counselling or additional therapies to help speed up your recovery. If you die, your nurse adviser will help your family cope with their grief; and they can offer them instant access to a bereavement counsellor. Helping Hand also offer you and your family access to our medical, career and legal helplines.

Global Treatment

With Global Treatment you also have access to overseas treatment for major illnesses such as Cancer, Coronary bypass, Live-Donor transplants and others. It includes 3-4 star accommodation for you and a companion, Medication up to £50,000 and a provides a total cover of up to £2million.

  • Available to Aviva Life, Critical Illness or Income Protection policyholders (who opted to pay the additional £3.00 a month). Also includes Best Doctors for Aviva customers

RedArc is an independent nurse advice service, that supports you and your family with emotional and practical help that you may need at a traumatic time.

RedArc has a team of Personal Nurse Advisers who are all highly experienced and qualified with a wide range of specialised and general medical knowledge. Their second medical opinion service provides a confidential face-to-face consultation with a local UK-based specialist to confirm a diagnosis and consider other treatment options.

This is a free benefit available to:

If you have a policy with The Exeter, you and your family will have access to HealthWise, a member benefits service.

LV Doctor Services

If you have a policy with Liverpool Victoria you will have access to:

  • The Liverpool Vic Virtual GP service
    Offering video/telephone consultations per year with a GP via the app or by calling, with appointments available Monday to Saturday
  • Remote psychological services
    Support by a qualified therapist trained to offer counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) as well as other mental health treatments
  • Remote physiotherapy services
    With a physiotherapist without the need for GP referral. This includes diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating any musculoskeletal pain or injuries such as back pain, sports injuries or sprains
  • Offering up to five consultations per year
  • These services are offered at no extra cost

GP 24

GP 24, a digital doctor consultation service powered by Medical Solutions, is available to all Cirencester Friendly members at no additional cost.

It offers access anytime to a GP by phone for diagnosis, advice and support as well as private prescriptions and referral letters via an app. Online video consultations with a GP are available between 8 am and 10 pm, seven days a week.

Digicare

Digicare is a new healthcare offering for  Aviva customers. Benefits and services are available via an app. This service is available to new and existing individual protection customers. ‘Anytime’ is the benefits offering from Guardian 1821 Insurance.

LegaCare

LegaCare is a charity that specialises in providing personal legal advice and continued support to people with a life-threatening or terminal illness. As part of our Claims Support package, LegaCare telephone access is accessible at no additional cost to anybody who has an income of £30,000 or savings of £30,000 or less for clients who live in England and Wales. For an agreed donation LegaCare can still help patients who may not qualify on financial grounds above this financial limit.

Umbrella Benefits

Umbrella Benefits is the Legal and General (L&G) additional benefits offering available only by purchasing L&G protection through your Protection Adviser from 13th July 2021.

YourHalo

YourHalo is the Cirencester Friendly additional benefits offering. Offering access to advice and support from healthcare professionals.

Members can also use this service to receive an assessment to gain insights into their health, including biological, psychological and social factors.

  • Cirencester Friendly policyholders will be able to access the service at any time during the lifetime of their membership
